Buying from Etsy became easier!

Etsy finally launched their site-wide gift cards!

It is SO cool, that now you just buy a gift card, and your gift reciepient can choose ANY shop and one-of-a-kind gifts from millions of craft artists!

Now you can shop at any independent craft shops on Etsy, as you would on amazon!

It used to be so difficult to issue a gift card! Etsy payment system would not allow them and the checkout was so convoluted:(
Oh my, things changed since then!!
I went ahead and filled out all the information to be eligible for the new payment system.
So now you can purchase from my little jewelry shop as well, using an Etsy gift card:)
No special emails, no advanced warnings or paypal hassle required!
I'm so excited for the holiday season to come!!! Are you?:))

Gift Certificates update

I decided to refresh my January post about gift certificates, because more people are coming, looking and asking and not all of them know that I actually do issue Gift Certificates.
I do not do it on a regular basis, when you can just buy it in the shop at www.TwosRuse.Etsy.com, because Etsy has some unresolved financial and legal problems with that practice so far.
However, I do it in a case-to-case basis, so you can request one by sending me an email to twosruse at gmail dot com.

More information you also can find here:

Etsy Gift Certificates awaiting

I thought a long time about posting Gift Certificates in my Two’s Ruse shop.
I read a huge deal of information about local gift certificate’s laws:
Consumer Union
www.ncsl.org

I read the etsy policies about gift certificates:
Gift Certificates in Your Shop

And how much it annoys poor sellers to obey this policies:
Angry Sellers Thread

And finally...still. I don’t feel ready to get involved into this mess, even though I’ve made a Gift Certificate template:
I guess for now, I’m going to give them personally to people I know personally or to customers who specifically ask for them.
