Color Club Port-folio swatches and review

One of rear cases, when looking at the bottle does no justice to how the nail polish looks on the nails.
I'll tell you right now - it is AMAZINGLY posh, dark and complex duo chrome. One of the best non-flaky or shimmery duochromes I've seen coming from main street nail brands.

My fingers might appear too bright orange or red on the pictures. I made these pics on my iphone4, which tends to oversaturate some colors vs the other ones. So I corrected the white balance, so the nail polish color appears as true to reality as possible. But then it screws the skin color, which is a neutral light tone.
I figured you would be more interested in seeing the Nail Polish, than my exact skin tone:))
SSsso, it is a dark muddy purple base, with green glow in the middle and pink-purple glow on the curved edges.

Benefit Cream Eye Shadow Silver Spoon

I got this one free with my Sephora order a while ago. Maybelline Color Tattoos and L'oreal infallibles were already way ahead of the game. Free gift is a free gift though. I just wondered whether it is going to be any better than what I have seen for twice a cheap:)
By the way, these retail for 19$. It is funny enough, that neither Sephora.com nor BenefitCosmetics.com sell this particular shade anymore. A basic silver shimmer, and yet it is discontinued.
Well, let me tell you, I can guess the reason - it is not that great after all )))
Check the pictures out: I put Silver Spoon all over the lid with bright blue eye liner along the lash line (Sephora nano eye liner). It is very sheer and difficult to build up.

If it had more sparkle it would be fine, but given the metallic finish and sheer texture, it give a rather grey cast to the eye.
I gotta say, when I tried Audacious Asphalt by Maybelline Color Tattoo, I had very similar experience, though Benefit Silver Spoon is cool toned, and Maybelline Audacious Asphalt is warm toned silver colors.
Even though I'm not crazy about the Benefit cream eye shadows after this experience, I kind of like this eye look in general!:))

Kisses, Maria "TwosRuse".
